Frank de Reij - AirFrance-KLM

Born in 1960, Middelburg (the Netherlands) Frank P. de Reij received his master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Delft’s Technical University in 1985 and his MBA from Rotterdam’s Erasmus University in 1987.

In 1999 he was appointed as Senior VP of the Business Unit Air Cargo and in 2000 he joined the Executive Board of the KLM Cargo division as Senior VP Commercial, responsible for all commercial developments and partners. 

From 2003 until 2007 Frank de Reij was Executive Vice President of the KLM Ground Services division. Heading over 5000 people, he was responsible for the worldwide handling of aircrafts, passengers and luggage.

Currently, Frank de Reij is Group CPO Air France – KLM, and responsible for the Procurement of products and services – excluding aircraft - for both airlines.

Frank was an active member of numerous Air- and Logistics associations. He is member of the SIGB (Steering group procurement (Dutch) large companies), the Foundation for Natural Leadership and the Supervisory Board of Tergooi Ziekenhuizen. He is also involved in a variety of coaching and leadership development activities.
