16. New Business Models: Learning by Doing and Failing

In this workshop we discuss various aspects of environments that foster new, innovative business models. In the modern, dynamic, complex world, there is a clear need for new and innovation-driven business models. In particular, we see the rise of collaborative models. Keywords in these models are Collaboration, Creativity, Paradigm Shifts, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability. We will address some of the barriers for developing and exploiting these new models, including fear for failing. The workshop leaders will share some of their own experiences, including the failures they have experienced themselves. However, participants are invited to join the dialogue and share their ideas, as well as their positive and negative learnings
