Philippe Armengaud - Bekaert

Philippe Armengaud joined Bekaert in July 2008 to become Chief Purchasing Officer in charge of all purchasing activities worldwide.

Prior to that, he worked for a subsidiary of Severstal Group as Director of strategy. Between 2003 and 2006 he was President of Extrusion division of Alcoa Europe based in Switzerland.

From 1980 till 2003 he occupied various positions in Arcelor Group , first as Managing Director of Sprint Metal (stainless steel wires), then as CEO of Tubeurop (tubes) and  finally Vice President of Arcelor Purchasing till 2003. He has been Board Member of  listed companies.

Philippe has PhD of Finance and Marketing of Dauphine University.
