DyeCoo Textile Systems has developed, together with Feyecon D&I, processes and machines for dyeing of textiles ( industrial volumes ) in carbon dioxide (CO2) . It is a complete water free dyeing process with considerable lower operational costs than conventional dyeing processes.
No waste water is produced and energy intense drying of the textile is avoided. The non-toxic CO2 for the dyeing process is almost entirely recycled.
Textile dyeing using supercritical CO2 is 30 to 50% cheaper than conventional processes. The dyestuff is cheaper and cleaner because auxiliary agents and chemicals (used in conventional dyeing) are not necessary. |
