Jan von Enden

Jan (MSc Agriculture, Environment & Development) has over 10 years of experience in production, marketing, trade and export of agricultural products, especially coffee, economic analysis of agricultural supply chains, agri-processing/post harvest technologies, quality management for agricultural products, certification (organic, fair-trade, Rainforest, others) and environmental management.

Having participated in several multi stakeholder processes, such as the Common Code for the Coffee Community (4C) and the Sustainable Agricultural Initiative (SAI) coffee working group, he is used to moderate between different perspectives and stakeholders.

Jan has been Director of EDE Consulting in the Asia Pacific region based in Hanoi between 2003 and 2005, being in charge of the management of several public/privately financed projects in the Vietnamese coffee sector and providing consultancy services in the Asian region. Between January 2006 and December 2009, Jan was Director of the EDE Consulting office in Costa Rica, in charge of more than 10 Public Private Partnership Projects in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Brazil. Since January 2010, Jan is General Manager of EDE Consulting and part of the management team of Hanns R Neumann Foundation.
