Herman uit de Bosch is founder and executive director of FairMatch Support. FairMatch Support specializes in developing sustainable supply chains. The organization operates in a range of commodities, with actors like AHOLD, KRAFT, OLAM, Intersnack and other medium scaled companies, mainly based in Africa. FairMatch Support organized a number of supply chains, and many farmer groups in Africa and elsewhere. In the past 25 years Herman has been involved in developing a range of innovative set ups, like: the first FSC certified timber, the first organic Brazil nuts out of Bolivia, development of fair-trade fruit and BCI.
